About The Department
The Department of Arabic is introduced to provide the students the knowledge of Arabic
language & literature. The Department always helped the students to bring out the talent and
creative abilities among the students and tried to expose the students to the aesthetics and
encourage and guide the students to develop proficiency of Arabic language and literature. The
library of this department is very rich with rare Arabic books.

Project
This is to state that I, Shree Rajdeep Dutta, Guest lecturer, department of Bengali, have permitted to carry on a Research Project on behalf of Bengali Department under the financial assistance of New Alipore College Research Cell. The title of the project is "Shantiniketaner Sthapatyashilpa"(Architecture Of Shantiniketan) and the project head is Dr Shiti Kumari Kundu, head, dept of Bengali.
The project is being carried on successfully.
